We have the first silicon prototypes with an on-chip RISC-V core ready, so we are advancing to focus on the firmware development that will be part of the final product.
Join us as a Firmware Architect / Team Leader and take the responsibility to drive the development of the production firmware. We have been utilizing firmware from the early stages of our silicon design, along with custom firmware for the chip validation. However, production firmware is the next challenge ahead of us. Are you ready to help us tackle this?
What will your duties be?
- Lead a small team of firmware developers to drive firmware projects execution
- Shape firmware-related technologies (we use C and Python, but we are open to other solutions)
- Develop, optimize and test the firmware
- Define, deploy, and maintain the firmware development environment
What do we need from you?
- A solid background in production firmware development, deployment, and maintenance
- Previous experience with C and Python programming, ARM or RISC-V architecture
- The ability to lead a small team, and learn new technologies
- Secure firmware development and testing experience (or the willingness to learn)
- Applied cryptography and security experience is welcomed
- Experience with open source development is welcomed
- A growth mindset and a high level of autonomy

What will your duties be?
- Take ownership of shaping TROPIC01 and its derivatives
- Partner with our clients to understand their needs and be the primary point of contact
- Identify and prioritize product features based on customer feedback and market analysis
- Plan and lead the road map that aligns business goals with customer requirements
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure product delivery and smooth system integration
What do we need from you?
- Product manager experience, ideally in within the semiconductor industry
- Good verbal and written communication in English

To achieve our vision, it starts with the design. We will not hide our implementation details behind any NDA’s so we aim to be thorough when creating each functional block.
Join us as an ASIC or FPGA designer to develop a secure chip that is rooted in transparency. We are looking to change the hardware security mindset, are you ready to take up this challenge?
What will your duties be?
- Develop the specifications for functional blocks (functional and verification requirements)
- Develop the RTL for specified block (In SystemVerilog or VHDL)
- Perform Lint checks for CDC, DFT, etc.
- Support the constraint development, synthesis, and logic equivalency checks.
- Silicon bring up, validation, and debugging
- Scripting with Python, TCL and Unix shell scripts.
- Report progress to the team leader on a regular basis.
What do we need from you?
- 3+ years ASIC/FPGA experience
- SystemVerilog or VHDL experience
- Verification experience (or the willingness to learn)
- Applied cryptography and security experience is welcomed
- Experience with open source development is welcomed
- A growth mindset and a high level of autonomy
